Thanks
solder sbe on the ps3 to sbe on the E3 ffc cable (found half way along the flex of the clip) find your board in the soldering section of the guide under "setting up E3" to see where the sbe point is
then do the patch part of the guide again with "flash fun" switch up. switches 2 3 4 5 down 6 up
it should take 10-15 minimum to flash.
once done turn off ps3 put "flash fun" down and see if ps3 turns on

hi. I have a progskeet v1.2 that i just bought and I am having some difficulties installing the drivers. I am using a PC with installed Windows XP SP3. when i connect the progskeet to the PS3 to the PC it doesn' t recognize it and it says unknown device. then when i try to install the drivers from device manager it says "cannot continue the harware update wizard" and it fails. I had never used progskeet before and i have not understood if before using it on the PC i should do something else even if the person i bought it form told me that it was already programmed and ready to use.
thanks for your answers

Assuming that the person you bought it from has already programmed it (you need Infectus programmer for this) then your slaveboard is most likely defective. I had the same problem; it even destroyed the USB ports of one of the laptops to which I connected it. My problem was that the regulator IC was short-circuited. Someone else (cannot recall his nickname) had the exact same problem and he posted in the Progskeet forum that there was a problem with a path just below the regulator IC and he somehow managed to correct it. Even better, a certain hard italian store can sell you the slaveboard only if you request it with an e-mail.
