Ive drawn the conclusion that you might have to invest in a Seagate or similar

yes it does, as does "run as administrator"

I read all the forums that you have posted yesterday, and from yesterday I've been telling you that I tried running all the apps but they are not supported by windows 8, and compatibility mode option is not there in windows 8, not with windows98boot Format thing.

Windows 8 has compatibility mode. Right click on the app, and go to properties. Then select compatibility tab. Choose Windows XP service pack 3. Also click on Run as administrator.

You have to be doing something wrong. Every drive I ever had that the PS3 or Wii would not see, that format.exe from PS muti tools has fixed it.

My MM version is 04.00.00, I was wondering that my MM is quite an older version than any other version out there, If I update it to lastest version maybe It would show me the HDD but the vendor keeps saying to me that don’t update it, whatsoever.
When I launch my MM It shows a Logo of MM than It starts and bring me to a another type of menu like XMB but in blue colour with various Option where I can see the CD that I’d already inserted in my PS3, Than I press R1 to see the Internal hard Drive games!
