i have tried "Code Breaker Version 3 (Unl)" and it works fine for me.

i have put the codebreaker as disc1 and the game as disc2 in same folder on usb. at the please insert disc screen just unplug usb and replug it and press O (on this version) as soon as it is plugged. it now loads the actual game

@Rancid-o
can you help me adding dex 3.55 payload into iris as i do not want to upgrade? i really want to use it on my 3.55 dex mfw with dex kernel now but have no clue how to add the payload or find the correct offsets
I am also using, "Code Breaker Version 3 (Unl)". I have name codebreaker as "MKT1.bin" and the actual game as "MKT2.bin" I actually did the same thing. Strange. I will try again.

Also to note, I tried Gameshark version 3 and 4. Both gave black screen but the audio was running.

Its called playing "retro" games.

You can re-live the past and remember fond memories of growing up, and remembering the first time you played these games....

.. so many memories!

Am I the only one who doesn't think of psx as 'retro' yet? Albeit old it's still too fresh in my memory.

I was about 14 when PSX came out in around '95, My mates uncle had an import one with crash bandicoot and tomb raider. I remember playing it all day until it got dark and having to walk several miles home in the dark... totally worth it.

@gingerbread
are you using correct cue-sheet files for both bins? you must edit them to match the new iso names

i have also tried several codebreaker roms now, but only this one works, strange indeed.

though if using pal european games you have to search for new codes and add them manually, as the preloaded ones are only ntsc/uc.

@DEFAULTDNB
i am with you. i was about the same age as you and can also remeber tomb raider1, which was the best platform adventure to me at this time. never want to miss these memories

edit
just remembered, back then some codebreakers had also dongle protections. maybe these all are "drm infected". mostly gameshark and action replay were these. the other protection was device specific codes...

I used to use the inside of a pen to make the psx think the lid was closed and swap in my copies at the desired time, I used to play the japanese version of Rival Schools like that.

I was playing FF7 in my second year of secondary school, although I'm pretty sure we are the same age
