It's ROGERO 4.30 and the chance of bricking is 00000.01% v2.05 is the latest version and to date I have seen 0 bricks from this CFW.

i'm thinkig about restoring from safe mode to OFW 3.55
then installing some CFW,

will this brick my ps3

is there somewhere rogeros 4.30 CFW guide but on english, i don't understand german

If it was me id do official 3.55 via xmb, then rogero 3.55 via xmb so i could qa tag the ps3, then rogero 4.3 latest via xmb.

You have stated the correct way to go about things. You don't need to qa toggle. Ofw 3.55 via recovery then rogero 4.3v2.05 via xmb and you are good to go. You will need the latest multiMAN signed for 4.3 cfw

donkey punch can you pls tell me how do i check the md5 codes of a update pup file
i have downloaded 3.55 ofw and 4.30 v2.05 rogero and i have read that wrong md5s or corrupted datas brick the ps3
how can i see that my file is the right one and that it aint corrupted
