Hey guys, I just got another PS3 that I want to downgrade, but my dongle just seem to have died out of nowhere..

Anyway, I searched a bit for an alternative to dongles, and found that there was a port for the TI-84 calculator that was realeased some time in 2010. I did search but I've found nothing recent and I was wondering if this still works. I want to replace the dongle with my TI-84 so I can downgrade this 4.31 OFW PS3.

PS. I don't mean to downgrade with just the TI-84. What I mean is to use E3 Flasher, and instead of using a dongle for entering FSM, I'll be using that calculator.

Don't know about the calculator, But now you don't have to use the dongle anymore.

I believe that works for 4.30 OFW only.

4.30+ Does not work.

Oh yeah.. This can't be that easy I guess!

Anyone knows if the calculator would work for downgrading ?

Patch with 3 musketeers patch
And install rogero's latest cfw at insert USB cable screen

Works on all NOR consoles on 4.30 and lower

Still wondering for the calculator. Anyone can confirm this still works ?

That calculator should work. I have never used one. But just Google how to set it up as a Factory/Service mode jig.

if I remember correctly ...., after flashing the NOR dump patched should be able to enter the FSM using FactoryServiceMode Toolc0.2

Isn't it supposed to work only once you're on a CFW ? As I said earlier, I'm on 4.31 OFW and want to downgrade. I don't understand how am I supposed to run this app since I'm on a OFW. Or maybe I misunderstood the use of it. Anyways, thanks guys for the replies. I guess I'll try using those 2010 tut i've found.
