You can activate your ps3 system serial number. Sry,but I cant remeber where this option was and when I have time I will look for it.

you can only acitvate and deactivate your console after logging into PSN, its under the account settings in PSN xmb slot

well the GPU on one is completely fried..... the other one needs to have the little plug for the wire running from the power supply reattached/solder the thing straight to the board. (this is the only one I might actualy have any hope of fixing for myself. and the other one has a broken Motherboard (Broken as in snapped in half..... drunken night I fell on top of my open console......)
