The fan is turning very fast and loud, is that bad? Making a backup takes only a few minutes but flashing my patched bkpps3.bin will take longer. Is that bad for my ps3? Will i melt some pieces?

EDIT: I reapplied thermal paste, just to be sure. Then i started flashing my ps3. There were only 2 lights remaining when suddenly the ps3 turned off. (the fan was turning very fast) Now i cant even turn it onn anymore. There was probably space between fan and cpu because of the coins on the nor chip. Do I have a YLOD? When i try to turn on my ps3, it shuts down after 3 beeps. any help please?

Sounds like a bad flash. Solder the tristate wire and see if the console boots via flash fun toggled up on the e3

Hey can I use your downgrade (without dongle) guide, for Fast Dual Boot process?

I have a CECHK PS3 fat. I am currently on OFW 4.31. Chapter 2 method 1 mentions that I must be on OFW 4.30 in order used method 1. Can I still be on OFW 4.31 and use method 1?

Can i use Rogero_4.30_v2.03 instead of v2.05 or MUST i use v2.05 if using method 1

"micro sd card formatted to fat32 (I recommend to use a 2gb or less Sandisc. Just a recommendation and others may work fine"

Why do you need 2GB or less Sandisc? i have a 64 GB Sandisk, will that work?

just try...a 4GB Sandisc also works..nothing can go wrong in trying(making backup)

The guide says OFW 4.30.

Why wouldn't you just use Rogero_4.30_v2.05, that is linked in the guide?

Just a recommendation. I only put that because small size Sandisk cards have always worked best for me.
I did not say you need to have one of those. Use anyone you want. I think most will work. Just make sure to format it to FAT32.
