Mod Loaders

First off, I apologize if this is posted in the wrong section. I would appreciate any information on how to install pkg files on my jailbroke ps3. I'm trying to add some mod loaders for GTA.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Use the IPF (install package file) option from the game column on your PS3's XMB.

Or open multiman > mmOS > double click on the PKG you want to install and do it

Which CFW you on right now? and Is your mM updated to 04.18.04?

I'm certain it's on 3.55 as I just received a console from Player and has the latest software on it. I've found a few links for the mod loaders but I'm having trouble getting them on my ps3. I am copying the files to a USB thumb drive and then trying to add them to my ps3. Each time I pull up the pkg installer on mm not files appear.

USB thumb drive needs to be FAT32 (should be by default shouldnt it ) place PKG files on root of thumb drive, stick drive in right most USB port, go to instal package files on the XMB, or open mM, go to mmOS, go to dev_usb000X (your usb drive) and double click on the PKG to be installed, it will ask you if you want to instal via xmb, boot back to XMB, and you will be at install package files on XMB once again...

Thanks guys, I appreciate the information and the link. I'm going to buy a new thumb drive to use for this. I will be back on in a bit to let you know the results.

Does it make a difference that I'm using a Mac instead of windows operating system?

why not use ftp to transfer files instead of buying a usb drive?
you can also install pkgs when you put the files on the ps3 hdd via ftp,
i dont know anything about mac, but i dont think that this changes something
