hi ok i was able to get the ps1 to work i think when i load from a disk it work good when i load from a .bin i just get black screen what make me think i might not copying good to my pc could someone tell me witch program to use and the right setup please...

Hey quick question! Does anyone have this working with Rebug 4.21.2 in Rex(Dex) mode? When I start it all it says is "error: unsupported firmware" I thought they added support for rebug several updates ago?

Iris is created by proper Homebrew devs and not people greedy for money.

multiMAN is created b a dev, who ripped of Open Manager an open Source Backup Manager, to create multiMAN a closed source multi tool, the dev after crying about not getting many donations, decided to give the Cobra USB team a few exclusives in exchange for money, though you already know all this.


So i don't see any comparing, i only see people choosing to pick an Open Source Backup Manager instead of a closed Source multi tool.

@gingerbread I created a virtual memory card from the XMB utility and assigned it to slot 1, then selected it from iris (slot 1) and I can save / load without any problem on 1.50.2. Later I will try the 1.50.6.

However I will appreciate a kind of auto-update function.

BTW master Dean has updated today a new version of multiMAN 04.18.04 (available online) with the "Paste as Link" added, if a single file is Copied to the clipboard with -> Copy, then -> Paste as Link in another folder.

Just start multiMAN holding down L2+R2 to enter to "Debug" mode and update it online to get the new feature.

It will be very useful for Iris users playing PSX from internal HDD with multiple copies of Codebreaker.

Note: The shadow copy (hard links) only work for files on internal HDD (the PS3 file system does not support hard links on USB devices).

I have the ps1_emu_patched.self and libfs_patched.sprx in /dev/hdd0/game/IMANAGER4/.

I'm trying the gameshark v5 in bin, and the codebreaker in ccd, when I load any of both, it goes to blackscreen.

Any advice?

no need for libfs patched if only using psx isos. and about codebreaker, you have to use codebreaker v3 (Unl). gamesharks and a lot others had dongle protection, though i am not sure if it is because of that

i even have tested the original black disc xploder9000 and it also blackscreens, but the xploder v4 works, as it is based or the same as this codebreaker v3 (Unl). it is instead of ntsc/uc pal with same gui, nothing more (but some better codes i see)
