I voted both but what I really meant was, I'll wait 6 months after both are released and go on a PC gaming marathon while the guinea pigs sit with the next gen of YLOD and RROD, the companies release the revised models, then I'll buy the next xbox first and when one of the following three things happen, then I will buy an orbis:

1. Hideo decides on another MGS.(Not Rising, I mean a REAL MGS)
2. If some or other exclusive gets released that I fancy that maaaaay sway me
3. It gets hacked which as always, is just a matter of time.

What can I say I really love my PS3 and dont care about the next ps just yet until it has a good line up and can do EVERYTHING my hacked PS3 can do such as homebrew. Showtime in particular.

A few years ago, a Sony executive made a statement explaining Sonys view on the use of any of their IP. To cut straight to the point, the executive said that ideally, customers would not be able to take a movie around to a friends house to watch, without said friend also paying to view the movie.

This is the very draconian mentality that has driven the once world conquering and highly admired PlayStation brand, to a lowly sue-happy corporation,despised by its once loyal fan base.

Whilst this will initially be introduced as a convenient method of tracking 'trophies', I guarantee that the sole goal is to reach a model whereby each and every person pays a subscription. No multiplayer, no sharing/borrowing, trading, etc. If Sony could charge families individually for each child per household, they would (they'd introduce a family package).
