You can downgrade straight to rogero 4.3 v2.05 without entering factory service mode. Not sure if you can from 3.73 but you can from 4.30 and as of yet you can't downgrade directly to rogero 4.3 v2.05 from 4.31 but @Rogero is working on it.

But i cant go to 4.21 rex firmware? and do I have to reflash? My ps3 is just fully assembled again, i dont know if i will be able to seat the nor clip properly another time.

I have correct psp model and firmware, is ps3jig still being updated?

No it isn't being updated. well the version I use isn't anyway. Which version are you using?

v1.0, I got it to work. I reflashed my psp with 5.50 gen d3 and it worked from first time. I had probably a mod or game fix from years ago installed in psp flash.
