E3 flasher: can I quit and rebuild ps3?
Hey, after 3 tries I was able to make dumps. But the dumps I made gave an error on flowrebuilder. I tried to mount the clip again with a coin, but it still won't work.
Can I just remove the clip and flasher and rebuild my ps3 so it'll function normally? |

Good I only did BIOS-backups. Lame that I always get 'Operation completed with errors. Could not succesfully extract all Dump files because an error occured.' on flowrebuilder

Don't give up!!!!!!!!! The reason you bought the flasher was to downgrade. Their are a few tricks to read a good dump and you have not mentioned what you have tried. Try sanding/shaving down the clip a little (on both sides) and also get some extra pressure on that clip tape it down first then put some cardboard wedges on top the size of the clip and tape them down. Then try and dump the nor again.

I sanded 1 side down, cause it might touch a diode. Didn't work. I taped a coin on top of it. Didn't work. I manually pressed it while dumping. Didn't help either. I rebuilt my ps3 already. The incertainty whether or not it'll ever work isn't fun

If you want a real 100% working all-cases method for bad clip clipping do the following :
1.Install the clip on the moterboard with 2 cents on top of it 2. Put the motherboard back into the cage with at least the screws where the CPU/GPU is. 3. Locate the clip. (Close to where the bluray drive screw would be) 4. Take a screwdriver and use its back to push hard on the PS3 cage where the clip is right Under. Have fun :D !! |

Hi, I'm looking into downgrading my cechk01 ps3 from 4.25. I've ordered an e3 flasher from eachgame.com. Does anyone know if their e3 flashers are legit? Or should I order one elsewhere. I haven't received the item yet just wondering if I'd messed up. Thanks
