Hi! I recently saw the announcement of the new Cobra ODE, which is perfect for me PS3 3004A.

But when the scene was younger and went all the expensive equipment to play backups, always free CFW came a response. It may happen with the launch of Cobra ODE?

It will be a very expensive machine, sure. And it will have limitations that do not have CFW, so the question.

Hey, I'm from Argentina too! I think that it may not be possible, because it acts outside the firmware, so that's why it may be used in OFW or CFW, and emulates the BD drive. Thinking of creating a software inside the system that emulates the BD drive sounds kind of difficult.

+ it needs soldering anyway..so no plug&play anyway for those consoles....we all ofcourse for it that any user can enjoy CFW features....good thing i wont need it tho...not my cup of tea...hmm tea

Wait..... are you asking us... If there will come some CFW that will serve the same purpose as the Cobra ODE?

A ___hardware____ based product, which needs to be soldered/connected inside the machine, to emulate the bluray drive?

You need to already be on CFW to start using cobra ODE and your PS3 3004A cannot take CFW at all so sadly you are out of luck.

No. I did not ask them to do a "virtual" Cobra ODE, only that it was possible to take out a CFW from the data that has the cobra ode.
