Frankly I doubt you will manage to "get" the keys. they are not stored on the console and they are kept under tight lock and key at sony. caculating the key to begin with should have never happened but sony failed...... If you can provide better details on your plan I'm sure there would be people willing to assist you and FYI even if sony does watch they cant do anything to patch something short of releasing an update simple way around that is to not update. oh my sounds like a far fetched idea doesn't it? secrets will never get you anywhere in a homebrew scene.

Look at Vita/PSP: exploit comes out > game name revealed > game pulled from store > patched update comes out.

Now for PS3, who cares if patched update comes out?

I, and hundreds of others, stayed on 3.55 because we knew we needed it to achieve homebrew and CFW... people who aren't stupid will know not to update past 4.31 "IF" your "idea" has any credence.

If you had anything at all that could allow PS3 3.56-4.31 to be cracked wide open and get CFW on ANY console (up to the date you release your ... idea) that would benefit the people who cant get CFW on 250x/300x/400x...

It's pointless to hold on to anything, it will get patched eventually anyway..

Also: you wont get the keys, but a current exploit would be very handy.

because one dev can't fix it..won't say another guy find something...an exploit or something......so many minds floating on the internet..u never know....positive thinking(yup sometimes hard for me toooo ) let's hope one day "someone" finds something and then ofcourse share with the world

ok now that we have a few open minds and a few willing ppl to at least try ill start by is it possible to rip the full firmware aa ps3 is running on and repack it into a update pup to install on another system? if so then i for sure have a way to at least get install pkg on a ofw ps3 and that can be out starting point..

also i was hopeing to get some 1 to see if they could maybe code a ps3 theme to run a expolite that would put ps3 in a sort of hen/chicken enviorment kind of like what was done with a psp 3000 from there im sure we could find a way to install a cfw even if we have to reinstall every time we rebbot it will e a start

yes that was what i was worried about and i dont want ps3 users to loose the ability to install a home made theme if theres a possible way to exploit the system threw a codded custom theme exploit but i havent seen any hackers or devs mention that they have even tryed to code a custom them to kick the system into a hen/ chicken enviorment witch in turn would allow a break threw for a new cfw but im sure if it turn out to be a possibility sony will remove the possibility to add your own custom themes to ps3 in the next patch
