well maybe this is a wrong way to express my idea :P but i guess its okay.. so peek&poke in ps3 is basically what we see on each jailbroken ps3 the install pakage files and app home data.
like older ps3 jailbreak methods the hermes payload were loaded from the usb development boards.. old style 3.41 ..
anw what i need to point here is maybe there's somehow a way we can make the peek/poke patch from a nor dump or smthn like that , just like the old development boards worked .. but not from USB..
let me make it clear..
the new software 3,60+ uses mtldr2 .. and the private key is used just to boot the ps3 .. then why crack it while we may find another bug somewhere else to patch the original firmware that has been already installed ..
note : i have no coding skills and im not a hacker all what i know about cracking is AES KEYS and such .. so please i just wanted to share the idea dont be rude

yes we all know ps3 is more complicated than any system out there as of today and psp was a sony product so i actually do have a little to offer hear as far as your conserned hear you have yet to answer any of mine or other ppls questions on this thread so it is you sir that has nothing to offer hear as for me and other users were free to throw our ideas out there and hope a few devs can look into them and for us on ofw we can see a new cfw or expliot withing the next year and maybe just maybe the dev that makes the exploit read a idea from this thread and decided to try 1 or 2 of them and all the sudden we get a new and more compatible cfw for 4.xx

not ezactly im actually thinking more like a theme that dosnt install the cfw but possibly opens a gap in the ps3 that can then install a cfw threw kind of like createing a new enviorment now much different but different enough that it allows the install of maybe a software downgrade or a totally new cfw its been done not only on psp but also the wii and yes i know ps3 isnt as simple but its worth a try also no 1 has answered if the fw can be riped from a ps3 repacked and used on another system if so then i have a for sure way to exploit 4.30 ofw

yes i honestly believe kakarotok took what he thought was the easyest way to exploit and only that i dont believe kakarotok has even attempted to create a cap or a worm hole in the fw threw a theme that might allow a software downgrade / new cfw i think if the right commands and codes was embedded in a theme that it could make just a big enough flaw with in the system that it allows a install of a cfw or even a lower fw

ok im not going to say that there never be a cfw that will install on ofw 4.xx
because i remember a lot of people saying things like this and they said thats it 3.55 is as far as we can go but then THE LV0 KEYS were released
