Game exploits would work if we could keep Lvl1 from panicing and freezing the system, A theme would do the same. Nothing will work unless we can fix VSH/lvl1-2

Shadow you keep quoting the psp, the ps3 is a far more complex machine than the psp. The comparison is not anywhere near. Please look at different angles as psp is wide open due to continious flaws in the security. The vita has HBL and cfw as it is weak and always will be, but it took years from release date for the ps3 to get hacked. Once the ps3 was hacked Sony were all over it like a cheap shirt and shut up shop. They even put hardware revisions in place with the metldr 2. So the only way to enjoy the homebrew (unfortunately) was for the wise users to keep their consoles on 3.55. You are flogging a dead horse here with the exploits you are trying to bring about. Talented devs have worked at it to no avail, so if you think you have the talent why not come back with an exploit you have figured out instead of trying to ask coders and devs to work with you. All the devs have tried and haven't come up with answers, they may not have logged all the avenues they have went down, but I can assure you referring to the psp is making you look stoopid now.

i know ofcourse...and the info's are there..the challenge is to put it together..i also know me/personally isn't fully grasping this....ofcourse also know we have to try/learn by doing..but admitting the PS3 is a tough nut to crack...props to them....it's like with all that info...some sinks..some a little later like the convert etc..and i'm 99% positive its right in front of us somehow..we have the required keys and our pck...again.a brainfart and like we say...lost in the woods...its just not so easy...a anon guide with broken english wa salready hard enough after awhile..after trying..yes u get it..for bootldr exploit...given up cuse its simply to much info and some guessing to put 1+1 together and ending with coldboot >> mm or something....oh maybe one day..good things might come to those..

so you agree it is possible? if so then maybe we can start with this and lean what makes lvl 1 freak out and see if we cant get around it

yes i understand psp is far less advanced than ps3 and i know the psp scene is tottally different than the ps3 and yes sony was all over it ...but with sony working on the ps4 i think [hopeing] they will be to busy to worry about a new exploit and weve had a few ideas come out in this thread that could potientally be lead to a new exploit

Kakarotoks worked his bloody socks off trying to bring HEN to the ps3 scene, being strung along by math all the way. Math lead kakarotoks down all kind off false avenues trying to exploit ofw, and kakarotoks had a good strong team working with him at the time and worked for months trying and could not produce the desired end result. Please listen to what people are telling you here, metldr1 is owned and metldr 2 is far from it. The notions/ideas you have slung through this thread are based on psp exploits/eggsploit. The comparisson is a stark contrast believe me. Please come back with something other than quotes from exploiting themes as the psp has. This is the ps3 we are talking about. Different ball game altogether (unfortunately).
