After following some suggestions and settings, I am having much better luck with Ni No Kuni now that I am playing it off of the external hard drive. So far I've gone through a whole dungeon without any freezes, even after I got to the end, saved, and fought the boss. I don't have any other games on my external hard drive, just Ni No Kuni, and I deleted the -[Ni No Kuni] from the Game's title on the folder.

The solution for now is to download the PSN version and activate it with ReactPSN.
You can get the pkgs and rap file with PSNStuff: http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php?p=527837 |

So could you have a look at the PSN version?
Shouldn´t it have completely different code when the game has to run from (different) internal HDDs? |

So basically, if we run it on a slow external hard drive, it may work perfectly (except for the book being slow to open which isn't an issue tbh)?

This is kind of a ghetto fix for those who don't have external HD's to play it on. I came up with the idea 6 hours ago to fill my HD up with small files from my PC, until it's nearly full. I have not had a freeze, as the HD is operating quite a fair deal slower. I'm aware that I'm jynxing myself by making this post and will likely freeze within the next 10 minutes, and that this is seriously a retarded fix, but..hey. it seems to be working.
