i'm still trying to create a good dump from these you sent me. are you saying you replaced the capacitor and it booted? or did you need to do a new dump and patch? bloody @Mr.Dutch how the hell do you do it ??? i thought you were just messing about lol

if this is so then i'm shocked too, i know those little capacitors are placed at every chip to filter unwanted noise in the powerline, but maybe because all operates at such a high speed, every capacitor is important?

I don't get how a capacitor can fix a bad dump & a forced brick.
these dumps are that bad that it shouldn't have booted |

... and then bosh! The fella gets it working! Seriously, WTF? But this capacitor repair cannot get around the fact that surely this was missing when the original dump was made and that dump was shown to be 'bad'? And then a 'forced brick' dump back into his flash surely = BRICK? I think I'm missing something here. Andy |
