Hey Major, i'll take this one. Now that i'm caught up at my real job. i have time to help out here. BTW, finally bought Xploder. great program!!!.

EDit. looked into this and here's the conclusion:

game genie will only allow you to do searches in decimal and not hex so it makes it impossible to really search for the hex string. the only way it can be done is by manually looking at it. If this was to be done, inputting 255(FF) into the search will bring up all the #FF bytes and then you can start searching. not so good on the eyes. So as far as changing GR, Game Genie would not be the program to use.

don't know if this will work but i did a mod of the sys-data file. this may not work because GG has a way of decrypting the sys-dada and i believe that what i edited is encrypted.
