I got banned from playing Black OPs 2 more than likely. Can't even get online with a new account. I gave in a bought a Wii U and Black OPs 2. No regrets. It's actually better on this console. The touch features are nice.

lol good old sony. trying so hard.... hmmm we have the 4.0 sdk. some of the lvl keys from 4.31 and whatnot... maybe we need some of the old guys to pop their head out and help us figure out the rest. im firmly against sony.. yet love ps3 games

I should have rephrased what I meant. By legit games I mean retail disc aka bought games. Not a backup.

But no, I'm not banned. There's not a whole lot of things I'm interested in online in the first place. MAG and BF3 and some Burnout Paradise but that's all meh.

I miss the crash parties in Burnout :'(

I don't get this statement, It's not just you I see these types of comments all the time.

You hacked your ps3 to play black ops 2, you then bought a wii u to play it. Why hack the ps3 in the first place if you want to play Black ops2.

This was similar to the xbox live bans, MS banned me for modding so I'm getting a ps3.

I'm considering the Wii U though, but I'm waiting for what the exclusives bring.

It depends what kind of mod, if you're talking about ixtreme dvd firmware hack...it's gotten safer but you also need to use your judgement.

If you're talking about jtag/rgh which is closer to what the ps3 cfw can provide, then no it's not safer by any means. You can get banned within the hour.

My second ps3 was banned, and I never play online. Actually, I just had connected to the PS Store once, to buy Okami HD.

I see a lot of people thinking that BLOPS2 is the only reason to get banned, so I am confirming: this is NOT true!

Connecting to PS Store with a CFW is reason enough to be banned, even if you've never played anything online.

To play pirated games on it obviously. I know I'm not the only one. And I just played that game mainly for that good ole multiplayer fun.

My PS3 was previously owned, it had been on PSN tons of times with CFW since the jailbreaking method went public.

When it made its way to my hands I wasn't able to go online until f*ckPSN.

From the time f*ckPSN was released till now is how long I've personally been logging into PSN.

I've never posted my online ID on any forums either, so that may also be another reason why my name hasn't made the ban list.

I keep a low profile, about the biggest exposure I've given Sony is a couple times when I was stoned off my ass I was logged into PSN and loaded up
multiman w/o noticing until it was too late, other than that I got my
gamertag banned from BO2 servers on U.S. release and that is it.

Unless you have a jtag/rgh with dualnand, then you can dualboot and use original disk
