reflash the dump and all other files. then flash 3.55 ofw if you get 3.55 on then do 3.55 cfw. remember to dehash and set qa flag for 3.55 cfw too btw

You are giving bad advice. When he flashes his dump with downgrade bin he must put rogero 3.55 v3.7 on the USB stick with the lv2diag. Self (302 kb) first he must kick the ps3 into fsm with a dev board (plenty to chose from). Once the console is kicked into fsm and switches off then use the rogero pup I mentioned earlier with the lv2diag file on root of USB stick.

you can use the diag file with kmeaw also?? it doesnt need to be rogero. you can also upgrade to rogero from 3.55 kmeaw and its simple and basic... thats why i directed him to kmeaw first to get it working. you can help him but if ya read back he needs step by step help. and you are correct about the setup of the usb stick i forgot to add the 3.55 with the self. thx

If you downgrade straight to kmeaw, you will brick.

You are talking codswallop. The reason rogero 3.55 v3.7 is used is it has all the syscon checks disabled. It is a pup used specifically for downgrade purposes. Kmeaw doesnt have the same requirements for hardware downgrading. Believe me you are giving BAD ADVICE

ill listen to you donkey lol but i told him to go to 3.55 ofw not straight to kmeaw btw. and as for haz ive downgraded my own console and gone to kmeaw. so im using my own personal experience.. i didnt see anyone else trying to help so i spoke up. no need to be rude or lippy. and i also dont believe just because everyone does something one way its the ONLY way to do it. its just the easiest or most common. anyways whatever lol.

What pisses me off here haz is he has never downgraded a console in all his snatch and he chucks bad advice around which will cause a brick and more problems for a user who has already bricked. I'm no expert, fact of the matter is I'm a noob still learning a hobby I have come to love, but I never once advised people on downgrade info until I got my hands dirty myself. Grrrrrrrr...... some people. (rant over lol)

If you want to unbrick your PS3, I can help.

1. Do you have a valid dump? Did someone double check it for you?
2. Did you already solder a wire to keep your PS3 on? tristate to ground or tristate to sbe?

If the answer is yes to both of those, Then follow method 2 or method 3 of the guide below. If you are in FSM mode already, then skip the step to enter FSM. After cutting the power insert the USB with the PUP and Lv2diag.self.
If you soldered tristate to ground, then you will have to remove the wire after you flash the patched dump.
Or if you soldered to sbe, you will need to have the first switch up, when you flash the patched dump. Not all down like the guide says. Then after flashing the patched dump, put all switches down and continue with the guide.
