yea i got psidpatch also....but to get a console id do i really have to get another ps3????......

You need a real valid console ID, so do it the way you want it but I would suggest you to buy/rent a PS3, get the console ID and ask for refund ASAP to where you bought it

Pretty underhanded to purchase a ps3 and steal its ID and then later return it so the retail store can resale it to someone who will then instantly be banned upon trying to connect. Scratch underhanded...........its downright lowlife.

The part that I find hilarious is that $ony doesn't even care. You can be banned without having ever committed one of their infractions. People are gonna do what they're gonna do. We can't stop them from stealing an I.P. address or cheating online, no matter how wrong it may be. But the next innocent person shouldn't be forced to pay for that. $ony is blindly banning people. Some of them for no good reason.

$ony has always been my least favorite console ever since they bolted from Nintendo with their stolen know-how. But with the PS3 I decided to give them a chance. Who would have guess I would regret it so much. I'm not saying the PS3 isn't an amazing machine because it is. It's just that their corporate practices are pure sh!t. I've never seen a company take such a huge massive dump on their fan base as they have. You can tell $ony would cut off their own nose just to spite their face. They truly are a Nazi corp.

I'm glad I have a gaming PC, 360, and that the Wii U is here. I haven't touched my PS3 in over a month and it feels like somewhat of a relief to be moving on. There's a lot of great people here but from top to bottom this scene is just pure crap. It makes the Wii scene look and feel epic.

Lol...all I ever wanted was a good working Nintendo 64 emulator.
