I'm convinced it's the logicboard or 4 pin cable. I used to have a car that sometimes wouldn't turn over because of one wire that connected to the starter motor via a spade connector. Gave the wire a jiggle and it would work again!

if the board didnt work wouldnt it black screen when you try to launch a game? does netflix work? if it was the board only the browser and music and video files on the hd would work.

i see from your earlier post your blu ray drive works yeah?? id say go back to 3.55 ofw. and then back to cfw and try again. maybe something didnt get installed correctly. you do have a bdemu correct? it may come in multiman already i dunno anymore. if that doesnt work tho then try a different cfw like kemaw to redo the peek n poke n whatnot then try again with the different custom firmware. i dont think its the logic board or you couldnt play any games or apps at all. and pkg files should install from the xmb you shouldnt even need multiman really except for iso games n whatnot. also im pretty sure the board doesnt half work in terms of a 4 pin cable. it works or doesnt. a crap wire may make it go in and out periodically but still all games would work unless the board was fully off. then no games would work. not sing star or whatever you said worked for you. its kind of an all or nothing thing. leading me to believe the problem is in the cfw install or somewhere along those lines. not the system hardware

Bluray drive works
Has been back and forth to 3.55 ofw and different cfw's more than the once

I believe it would be bluray drive but multiMAN doesn't hang it flips to xmb and discs work

can the guy @Wisard ..just for a look see.... tell us if he have a backup of this CFW and check the TargetID...keep stumping back to some cex/dex problem..could be..then again Sarah1331 knows ofcourse what's he installing but just a confirmation of a checked dump to see it has dex..then maybe he's on 355 off dex with no peek poke and stuff not running...doesn't explain the qa_toggle

if netflix and sony store work but discs dont id look at laser or motor. easiest to get the whole assembly as one piece. if netflix and the store dont work its the logic board. or possibly try restoring file system to see if something got corrupted somehow.
