Broken resistor

I've broken a resistor on my ps3 slim mother board but ps3 still works i can't solder it back do you think i could have some problem? It's metallic with a light purple stripe. there were 3 aligned originally on the MB now just 2.
I can't post a pic now if need i will do it.

you probaly know it's a capacitor, resistors are black and have numbers printed on it, like 391 (390ohm)

Capacitor sorry i don't know the mb model the ps3 is a CECH-2504A.

No way to put it back one leg is on the mb (no way to solder it because the capacitor has a hole) the other is still on the capacitor.
Do you have any idea of what that should cause? Shoild i buy a new one with same specs and solder it back?
