Guys i got Stuck in 4.31 cant go back to 3.55 everytime i try anyway it reached to 74 % and give me {data is corrupted 8002f957 }
I Dnt knw what to do or what i must install can any1 help me :D ?
i tried the search engine but with no use

You can't put OFW 3.55 in USB drive and install it on the console, since you're on 4.31 this won't work!!

You'll need to downgrade by using E3 Flasher!

He prob is on 4.xx cfw and didnt do something because its accepting the fw

I thought that even on OFW, it gives an error at some point (in this case, 74% of installation).

If he's really using a 4.xx CFW, a simple downgrader + dehash will sort this out.

tjhooker73 is right ofcourse...if one noticed the PS3 test he did way back u know why..he kcked all our butts..the guy knows the PS3..also nice to fix people's kiosk box..... anyway

u say 4.31 what CFW and with spoof enabled?
when u go back use the "proper" downgrader" to get back on hybrid 3.55, make sure the PS3 is qa flagged(for installing any cfw's without the lv1 checks for save software downgrade from 4..CFW >3.55) u can use the Rogero 425to355.pup or use Rebug's 999 downgrader, run from the XMB-sysyem update, then finish it off with e.g Rebug's 3.55.4 or Rogero 3.7 = 3.55(4.25 spoofed)

On which firmware are you now, ofw or cfw?

Update error 	0x8002F957 	Error with installing Firmware update. The data is corrupted (firmware in flash does not allow the MFW installation as it does not contain the needed patches)

When you try to install from the recovery menu, what firmware does it ask for?
If it says 4.31, you are on OFW 4.31. The only option is a hardware flasher.
If it says 4.30, you are probably on CFW 4.30. Do you have app/home and install package files under the Game column?

Here is the 4.25 to 3.55 downgrader PUP. But it will not work if you are on OFW 4.31.
