@santimaster2000

Deank didnt write the basics of MM, he ripped it off from open manager ( which was the first backup loader and open soucre, meaning free for anyone to modify with the trust it stays free/open source) you deuche bag.

Deank wanted to be the only Backup Manager to be able to play PS2 and PSP backups, So he sucked on Cobras teets to make a profit cause apparently the scene was not donating enough to him. He got a GOD complex from adding code to the original one.

So yes He in a way Stole someones code and is making a profit from it, when the original coder let it go for free. There is no supply and demand BS going on here >_< jesus did you hear that phrase from your teacher while you were in a MM coma in the back of your class from tickling deanks balls ?

The man leeched off others to make a profit during the struggle to keep the scene alive. again I ask how is that supply and demand >_<

I misread your post, sorry. Just rename the GAMES folder to GAMEZ on your external drive

Edit: @TheSavage was faster than me

@LoboGuara

I think what @svenmullet ment was, that he wanted to Write to the USB instead of the Internal, which is where IRIS is setup to write too. ^_^

I personally agree as the option would prove to be most valuable in IRIS ^_^

Dean is doing hard work for us for free and seriously I don't understand your drama.
@3esah

He is not doing this for free anymore, the man is getting paid by cobra to keep MM updated and the cobra secrets safe and unique to MM. Where did you hear he was doing it for free? and what on this green earth made you believe that >_<

Apparently the problem was the games he already had on the external (this or I'm more stoned than I thought...). The default Iris folder for external hdd games cannot be changed.

LOL ^_^ ohh how I wish I was right now LOL

yeah I think that was part his problem too, I set my GAMES folder to GAMEZ not to l ong after I realized that with IRIS ^_^

still would be nice to write to the USB or Internal instead of just Internal though ^_^

Havnt Slept in a few days, I probably read that wrong too LOL. ^_^

Why all this hatred against multiman? Everytime there's a Iris update, they post a picture like that one.

If you are talking about load PSN games from external, Iris can do it too, If you (or someone else) want to try it, you must follow the next steps:
(Quoted from Estwald and ugly translated by google and me )
1) Install pkg Iris Manager and "homelaunc1.pkg" (Included in the download)

2) Create the folder "game" in root of USB device.

3) Extract you pkg hombrew or PSN game and copy the contents of the pkg in the "game" folder.

3a) An easy way to do this is to use my pkgtools:

http: //mods. elotrolado. net/ ~ hermes/ps3/pkgtools_v1.8B.rar (Without spaces)

Enter necessary keys in directories "data" (scetool) and ".PS3" (the keys are not included, you must search for them somewhere else) then run iris_pkgtools.bat

- Option 1 simply extract the contents properly.

- With option 2 fix PARAM.SFO and executables if version > 3.40

- With option 3 force fix (to fix old executable)

4) Insert the USB into the PS3 and run Iris Manager.

5) Press R3 to list the Homebrew and PSN Games. Press X to select one of them, It'll take you back to the XMB.

6) On games you wiil see "USB Game Launcher" (homelaunc1) with the blue icon, run it.

7) It'll take you back to the XMB once again, but now "USB Game Launcher" will show a green icon, now select it again, to run the homebrew or PSN game.

Note about USB Game Launcher: The red icon indicates that the application is not ready (run Iris Manager and select a hombrew or PSN game). The blue icon indicates that the application is prepared and requires you to enter (in both cases shows the title of the previous load, ignore that) and the green icon indicates, (now the title is displayed correctly), that is ready to run our homebrew or PSN game (in less words, USB Game Launcher requires a previous run to go from blue to green state)

8) Enjoy!

NOTE: Both Iris as USB Game Launcher uses redirects (syscall 8) under the same point: some applications may not work because the redirect is not perfect and also for the entry point used.
