1. cfw is not safe to play on psn/sen, when the 3k3y is excatly like the xk3y then it is "mostly" safe
2. cfw itself is free yes, but to install a cfw you need to downgrade your ps3 (which also costs money) or buy a ps3 that is on 3.55 (which costs more than normal ps3s)
so sry i dont get why you blame people for buying a ps3 ode??

Yeah Cobra nor 3key team have done anything wrong here. in the past maybe but this hardware really is NEEDED to emulate the disc drive. it's not like we can just plug a USB cable in through the ribbon conection on the board.

I think that if the scene was better, these ODEs would never come on the market. But, unfortunately, we know the condition of the PS3 scene.

And @zecoxao , yes, we were able to extract the key before this key dumper, but none has done an user-frendly homebrew for that. So, throught the eyes of users, 3k3y is more brilliant than devs of the scene... (I know that is not so)..

So.. If Cobra is real and we can extract the key from 4.31 ofw, I definitely give them my money.

Until they prove that this can be done on newer consoles without downgrading then this is pointless. If 3000k and 4000k consoles are possible, then braavo and well done on the exploit!!

you can't do the same thing as an ode with software, well i guess it is possible but would be very difficult?... hmm

i'm not taking sides or anythng, but lots of people seem very anti ode just because you will get charged for it, but it is a physical device right? how can you do it another way?

What are the benefits dumping our own BD Key without having an ODE and with owning a ODE?
