I don't think so. I think that mm users can be devided in two sections. On one side the democrats(without cobra) and the republicans(Cobra users) on the other side.

Whats the differnce ?

multiMAN and MMCM were both created by deank
A dev that lied to his users.
A dev that keeps his software closed, even though about 10-20% is someone else code.
A dev that steals others people's open source software to bloat up his own closed source software.
A dev that cares more about money than the end user.

All mM/MMCM users are the same.

What's the best alternative to replace mM's file manager (with NTFS support, since Iris doesn't read NTFS) then?

I think the difference between the two is that the Cobra users bought the Cobra dongle.

I use mM because it does everything. The problem is that all other backup managers stopped updating and fell behind. I'm honestly glad Iris has changed this and really stolen some of mM's market share so to speak.

Most users are pirates and want whats easiest, with the highest success rate, and at the moment mM is that.

To quote deank:
The online version was updated to support copying PS1 CD discs to ISO (thanks to Hermes). You can update by starting mM while holding L2+R2 and update. When you insert a PSX Game Disc (original or backup) you can "Create ISO" when you press [TRIANGLE] over the game entry in "Game" column.

I'm willing to bet half the games that work on iris won't on MM for cobra's sake. The only thing I found interesting in cobra were psx isos. One of my favorite consoles second to the SNES.
