If you have not formatted the hard disk you can write back the original dump to see if the USB ports are working properly or if there is a fault

Try removing the e3 clip from the flasher(not the motherboard, cause its a pain to get back on), and see if the USB gets power. It should work.

************* [ - Post Merged - ] ************* So just dont plug controller in, make sure you have programed dongle or PSP or iphone and connect it to right slot of USB, cut out power cable from power cord, put it to 0/I on 0 and plug USB Dongle/PSP/etc, in right slot, connect cable to power cord, from 0 to I and hit power plus eject combo and PS3 would power off by him self

Try and unplug the e3 ribbon from the flasher. It should restore the power to the usb ports.
If that doesn't work, uninstall the flasher and try. I just got done with one that did the same thing.
