Hi,

I've just got suspended from PSN but the odd thing is, I first received the 8002A227 error. When I received this error I used PS_unban because I'm cool like that. Now I receive error 8002A231, I've researched this code and it looks like my PSN account is suspended, but even so, I can't seem to log on with any account. Does anyone have any ideas?

if your ps3 is banned then of course, u wont be able to log into any other accounts . and if they banned the account then u can log in as well on that account

atm they ban much more than ever, it comes up to you how much important it is for you to play online, you could buy another ps3 and stay on ofw, maybe the 2 annouced ODEs will not get detected by sony, or just buy only those games you like to play online, there is no good alternative atm

Thanks for the helpful replies! I'm just kind of confused of to why the error code changed after using PS_Unban. The 8002A231 is apparently an account only ban but I can't seem to use any accounts on the PS3 due to that error.

yea oww. i got the same problem dude.

looks like we need legit console id's to trick planet sony.. and i think ps_unban worked well thats why we have another message after using but the console id's which been used by this tool were limited and has been banned already. i red about 70 accounts can be made with one console id but if this gets banned u will loose ability to create new or use any accounts on this system.

have u tried PSID patch 1.06?

i heard that someone created a random id with that lol

anyway if u have a valid console id then this tool will unban u ... my problem is that i dont know how to get one lol

dude its cause you were console and account banned >_<

the reason your getting the account ban error after using the psunban is cause the psunban only unbans the CONSOLE ID, if the current psunban has not been patched yet.

you have to use the app then create new user on ps3 and create new psn account on that user, the accounts that have been banned are gone for good. Unless sony decides to let you use them again, which is VERYYYYYYY unlikely.

Hey dude,

Yeah that make sense, I've tried creating a new users, I even created a new PSN on my PC but it still comes up the error message.. I'm going to ring Sony at some point today and find out how long the ban is for..
