Which 4.x CFW should I upgrade?
So, which 4.x CFW should I upgrade? Now I'm at 3.55.2 Rebug CFW, and I don't have a flasher, so I can't downgrade to 3.55 and install another (last time I saw, you needed to downgrade to 3.55 to install another 4.x CFW).

If you're a fan of rebug you can choose.
4.21.2 (this one has all the options of 3.55.2 and 3.55.4) or 4.30.1 (Cleaner CFW like rogero) :http://rebug.me/ and of course there's rogero's. :http://www.ps3hax.net/2013/01/releas...nstead-of-ipf/ |

You can install any of the 4.30 CFWs from the XMB of a 1.00-3.55 OFW or 3.55/4.21/4.30 CFW PS3, no need to downgrade!
I recommend Rogero 4.30 v2.05!

Rogero definitely requires eboots etc to be resigned for his 4.30 CFW. It isn't much hassle to resign your eboots, or restore any files you modified .. as long as you had the foresight to keep an unmodded copy of the EBOOT/SPRX/SELF/SDAT etc.

In short I think Rebug would require you to resign your eboots etc just like Rogero. It doesn't take long even if it does need doing.

Every 3.55 modified game eboot/file that I changed whilst under Kmeaw still works using Rogero ? I kept/backed up the original eboots/files on my pc, but have not had the need to revert to them. |

I had to revert AC3, Hitman (all SDATs etc), LBPK to name but a few. Luckily I had all eboots etc backed up every time a 3.55 fix came out. Delete the fixed files, revert the originals from back up. Also my PSN games were patched for 3.55 and they all failed except for "from dust" which still worked.
