Baily; i have a 3.3V adaptor.
and i was always asking, what point shall i solder to to power the NAND? do you have a diagram, off coarse i can not solder the wire to the nand it self since i will be putting the clip on it

You know I was just thinking power. I measured the 3.3v pad on the progskeet whilst it was plugged into the PC but not powering the NAND. I get 1.7.

But being the way I am and trying to think logically I do not understand why I was able to dump the first NAND with the clip. Everything is set the same now as it was then with the exception on being wired directly to the NAND. That leads me to believe its my wiring but I can find no fault in it.

This has got me stumped and I do not like being beat.

Also is it normal to get the USB not recognized message with everything wired up when plugging the progskeet into a USB port?

the clip has a 3.3v and a gnd solder point on it.
but check the 2 points first with a multimeter to check the prog isnt sending voltage there aswell
i dont remember what resistor to remove from the v1.2 to stop the new progskeet sending voltage to the clip/nand.
i will find out though

nope its power. as in amps
i had this with the progskeet 1.1
it would work then stop and give usb device not recognised
then work again.

i then found that my laptop gave reduced power if it wasnt plugged into the charger.

now with the prog1.2 needing even more power then 1 single usb cannot supply enough "amps" to supply both.

So what you mean here to power the NAND with 3.3 Volt i use my outer source and solder it to the Y-adapter instead of soldering the wire from Progskeet 3.3V to Y-adapter.
but my question was is there a point on the mobo itself i solder to and power the NAND. or shall i trace the leg on the nand which has the 3.3V and see the closest point to it?

i was asking this question a lot.
i have an ATX power supply, i want to connect it to the PS3 mobo and power the NOR or the NAND with it does not matter, where are those points on the Mobo.

See this

This is one Mobo.
what other points to the other Mobos, and off coarse PSU will not be used
