PS: I have another ps3 with OFW 4:31 so I won't mind risking it.

Updated to this cfw and bricked

completely blue screen and nothing seems to work. It appears even

when i try to go to the recovery menu so im out of luck

i guess the problem was from using reactpsn in this cfw

Format the hard drive of the ps3 in your PC, reinsert the hdd back and will re-enter in recovery mode. Next time use the new update pup, i'm sure u used the first one

I've installed this firmware but seems that bdemu isn't working here.
I tried with a game that requires a disc, Call of Duty: Black Ops and it doesn't start from /app_home/PS3_GAME/.

Maybe the bdemu is only for npdrm titles..

Edit: also boot_otheros flag isn't working here.
With boot_otheros flag the PS3 make some beeps and then the led becomes red but the console is still power on with a black screen. The only way that I found to enter petitboot is to boot into recovery menu (after install_otheros).
