Hi,
I'm a complete newbie, please be kind ^^' So I have a 4.21 ofw console and I want to be sure that I'm safe from potential automatic updates. I've used yet another bypass 1.8 to gain access to PlayStation Store, I'm downloading Raising Demo right now but I'm afraid of potential automatic updates. Are there any measures that I should take? and what are your advice guys? Thank you |

Turn off auto updates.
Use a spoofer to prevent updates from a disc. (if you update/downgrade with a disc in the drive you will have the FW of the disc not the USB, so be careful to remove discs if ever updating/downgrading)

It's not something you can use.
"So I have a 4.21 ofw console" You cannot run homebrew. A spoofer fakes your firmwareversion. I.e. you make it seem higher than it is, so it won't get updated anytime soon. But well, OFW 4.21 <--- No homebrew can be run. They most likely read 4.21 CFW, I do that all the time myself... |
