Hi, I have to say I'm a bit of a newb but I'm not sure what I did wrong.

I started with a 3.50 OFW Slim PS3 which I got today. I downloaded the PS3UPDAT.PUP and did everything like the instructions said. I didnt upgrade to 3.55 first, I hope thats not where I screwed up.

Anyway, I managed to install Multiman full afterward it seems to have gone off without a hitch. But when I launch it I get the following error.

multiMAN cannot enable BD-ROM emulator. Functionality may be impared.
Error: Unsupported system firmware.

I can't seem the restore back to 3.55 either, perhaps I can't find the right file.

I tried to update to another firmware like Rogero 4.30 but when I tried to load the update file it just says

"Unable to find applicable update"

Any help would be appreciated greatly! Thanks!

You need the latest update for multiman to work 4.19.02

You can use rogero 4.25 to 3.55 downgrader or rebug 999 to downgrade.

Ahh no I Did that any the only game I've backed up so far keeps quitting out to the XMB.

What else could I have missed?

Multiman is supposed to exit to the xmb then you play the game from the disc icon or from app_home.

Ok, thanks, I figured that out now. However now when I try to launch the game it just black screens on me.

I'm trying RR unbounded, the only setting i checked in multiman is "Internal" since its on my internal HDD.

Any suggestions?

try using bd mirror
