The copyrights aren't technically being broken unless one copies a game/hardware.

The waranty yes. The user agreements Yes.

But CFW/hacking isn't about piracy(MOST of the time lmao matters who you talk to....) IMO, It's about the freedom to code for a console/ pc for yourself.

Of course Sony gives you the choice to become a developer with their Wand **** stick but first you have to do the wand not the console(SO much more you can do with it) and it costs a good pretty PRETTY penny

They never said anything about running backups on future consoles, that is people jumping to conclusions.

From what I can gather, they mean the nor/nand clip will be compatible.

I'm also pretty sure this is related to the Wii-U due to the fact Marcan and crew have a great time invested in the Wii as you can see with their recent Homebrew Channel for the Wii-U. For those of you who don't know the Wii-U could be exploited on day-1. Plus, with their reaction to Sony's reaction to their initial work on the PS3 I doubt they want to (publicly) put their necks out.

How do they know what nor/nand chip the future consoles going to have? I am guessing that you will be buying more add ons once the base "station" is released.

I wonder if the announcement is just to slow down the coming sales of Cobra ODE.

Also you will be paying a lot more than your standard purchase price for the E3 flasher, you buy the base kit "Station" then other add on like HD screen and NOR clips. I bet you it will cost nearly as much as a PS3.

I like the sound of one click downgrades without the need of a PC.

When will all this trash come out? All of these ODDEs, etc. Hearing the same song and dance for months now and nothing has shown up.
