Does it check for repetive banding of FF's where data or zeroes should have been?
It´s enough to have 4 or 5 of this bytes in the data area and your dump is corrupt. But its indeed a quite usefull app.

Ok I'll try to read between the lines and keep being nice as much as possible, I don't know what was aimed by these lines, but honestly some stuffs hurt my balls. Once for all: 1. I could have inadvertently promoted my code, but I wanted to give an introduction to my thread and not purely throw the news on the table, ok next time I’ll pay more attention. 2. Sorry for the confusion, and biggest apologies to Mysis and anyone who felt bad after I’ve introduced this here. 3. What need should I have to promote my code? I made it open therefore anyone can own it. 4. I worked on my side alone in the shadow since 2nd week of January, but not in the dark as I used lights from ps3devwiki / ps3hax to guide me. 5. Why I worked on it? Simply because even if I like what I’ve seen all around like what @BwE and @judges did, I was in need of a tool for a while doing more and giving more details. I saw nowhere what I was going to write in my code then I decided to not be a too lazy ass and wait for someone else to do it. 6. Why did I publish an unfinished work? The fact is that I only can validate my code by reading the wiki and use some dumps from the wiki and mine, but it’s common sense when you work alone on something to have someone else to validate it to ensure you do not miss anything. Therefore it became obvious to me that I had to share this so anyone could help me to improve it and they could even use it if they were also working on something similar but were missing some parts. 7. Honestly you are the only one who just hurt my butt, anyway people think what they want, but even if some could have a doubt on the source, I don’t think this is based on mine as Mysis project seems to be coded in C# which would require for him more effort to port my code than reading/fixing the wiki, SO NO I DON'T THINK IS CODE IS BASED ON MINE. 8. Mainly the confusion comes from the fact that people jump in a thread without reading all post before writing, but again I’ll try to be more careful next time or better I’ll keep it for myself. 9. I do not underestimate neither his tool nor his readme, at the time I wrote in my initial thread that I would do what I can to make my code become the tool you should have understand that there were no publication of any sort close to that also I don’t care which tool become THE TOOL of the century. 10. STOP ASSUMING THINGS FOR OTHERS, you do not know me, you are not living in my place, you did not send me a PM to ask me anything or tell me what you think. Sure it’s faster and easier to flame someone directly in a thread. 11. This is not going to affect my dev, also you should read my initial thread again, but unless my writing was wrong again, I have stated that I’m not a DEV, even if I do code some stuff for my job it’s not my main activity, there are plenty of better devs than me everywhere. 12. I am ready to give any help to any one, if someone needs it from just ask, but I doubt Mysis needs mine, those who wanted my help for something had already sent me PM or written line in my first thread. I have not received any request from someone stating that he is already working on such project and would be interested in any kind of help I could give. 13. Yes, I’ll try to document what I can, but I have a life I (still) have a job and properly documenting takes time. 14. NO ONE is going to tell me to stop doing what I do, I have never listen to my parents my friends or my wife, I will not start by listening to someone I don’t know. 15. Last one for my own pleasure :P - I do appreciate a lot people sharing their knowledge and respect them for that. - I do appreciate people who give their work without asking anything in return and respect them for that. - I do not like people who give judgments without knowing what they say - I don’t like to use a software when it’s closed source because I don’t know what it can do to my things, I have too many examples of Chinese software you would not lie to have running on your computer after knowing what they exactly do… - I am not a good dev so I like to read some code from other to help me improve my skills if possible, but I’ll never use his code or part of it if he does not allow it, NEVER. - Stating that someone should stop // work is like asking to all linux/bsd distribs forks to stop doing what they are doing because the only true one is DEBIAN or FREEBSD not the others, then yes you are right we should also ask to site’s admin like GitHub to remove the fork function. PS: Sorry if my English is not correct and confusing PS2: yes I’m pissed off, but not because there are better devs than me, just because judging without knowing leads to stupid wars, see what stupid religions can do to members of other religions… |

@BwE
, sure I like what you did, I've seen that you documented a lot also.
I will definitely love you if you share a link where everyone can find the source code of your tool
