Guys.. I'm begging here....I really need help here. Could i've followed the tut for fast swap to the "T"! After flashing the E3 NOR as stated in the tut. I get the "Connect the controller using a USB cable, and then press the PS button." Every single time i complete the "update E3 NOR part." I think there is something information missing from this tut. I've already pointed out to Bailey about the "dehasing" part and he edited the tut. It would be great if someone could go over that tut. Or at least work with me so that we can edit it and add some more details (like when to remove the HDD or turn off the Esata).

I've been on this for 5 days. I have a vaild dump + i am successful in downgrading the system. I have two identical HDDs (i have a cloning machine so i cloned them 1:1). I would really appreciate some help here. I am about to give up on dual boot.

P.S. I have a SLIM CECH-2001A which had 4.31ofw on it. I am using the E3 NOR Clip. A&B on the MOBO have been severed. Both (A) and Tri state are connected to the E3 ribbon at it's respective points.

Player - i'll give it a shot, thanks! This tutorial on WiKi is completely different than the stick we have. Should our sticky be updated? See, i knew i couldn't have my OFW HDD in when i flip the CFW up. However Bailey's tut doesn't mention anything about HDDs..

I'm not sure. I haven't actually set up a fast dual boot yet. I have a couple PS3s I'm gonna do it to. But I have just been so busy with downgrading others. I haven't had time.

Appreciate that. I hope it works too.. You'll see when you try FDB that the tutorials are missing a lot of information and at time are hard to follow. I've tried all the tutorials out there and every one of them are different and hard to follow. Some don't tell you which HDD you should have in. Some tell you to flash e3_downgrade with bkpps3 some don't.

I really hope you try man and are able to write a better tutorial on it. If i get mine working I will. I've already logged all my errors

I got it to work.... i had to use two differ tuts and take some from one and some from the other. I guess if you try hard enough you will prevail! today marks 1 ****ing week!! i'm going to celebrate now!!
