My case is different I have a backup of my PS3 before I connected it to a psn account. Im going to do a restore and hope I can sync with a new account but in theory it should work. But if it does ill lose some trophies but it it doesn't really sucks either way looks like I'm going to have to start from scratch due to a lot of PSN game trophies that I don't want syncing again. Doesn't seem to be a way currently to get rid of them. I won't be messing with any more psn games that arent connected to my PSN if I plan to sync down the line. This is probably a sure way to get banned. I think I'm out of luck. >:[

It wouldn't surprise me to find out that Sorny was sniffing around forums, looking for people admitting to being on CFW and going online, checking out their user profiles and signup emails and piecing together information resulting in people being banned.

Sometimes I wonder if I worry about all these random conspiracies for no reason, but then I counter that thought with all of the relevant information pertaining to and building up to that conspiracy... They're conspiracy theories for a reason not just some random thing.

...And yet you're still online. I never had any problems with GR, I'd say if you think he's lame, maybe he's just adapting to something you can relate to. As for the WiiU, it was never about how powerful it is or isn't...it's about games, always was.

I'm just waiting for Gamestop to put those trade your console (in my case xbox) for credit towards a WiiU as I'm considering it. By that time all the bugs would be ironed out.

So, my account was banned for use of un-authorized software.

There is no point in calling Sony, their reply is, "no, there are no warning emails, and no, we cannot un-ban your account."

I never played any games online. 3 times I connected to sync my trophies, and that is it.

Weird thing is, when the ban happened, I was playing Borderlands 2 online with my legit PS3, while my hacked PS3 was copying a video from my computer. I really hope the hacked PS3 got banned from one of my trophy sync's. But it's possible they saw my hacked PS3 on my home network while I was playing online with the legit PS3.

I just hope it's the hacked console ID that got banned and not my legit console ID.

Advise to anyone who is yet to be banned. STAY OFFINE!!! Don't connect to PSN for ANYTHING!
