Going to revert most of the major changes I did to the CPS drivers - guess it's better for it to be slower than to accidentally break stuff.
Also, the PS3 version right now is semi-broken - I'm going to push out a new version. Sorry for rushing things on the console front - the Android version was where 90% of all the attention was going to for this release."

The version before RetroArch 0.9.8 did not do this. Hmm..

I just compiled a new FB Alpha (libretro) core based on the recent changes mades by Twinaphex and they fix up graphic issues on CPS-1 games and there are No more Diagnostic Menu lock-up

I will post an update later so stay tuned!

Testing it out today CaptainCPS-X, still a bit glitchy if I change shaders to scanlines and add CRT normalgamma shader and load up Dakstalkers I get a blank screen and the PS3 doesnt do anything until I press my power button off.
One other glitch I got was the PS3 6-axis D-Pad didnt work at first until I power cycled PS3. Hmm.. strange..

Maybe I screwed up the settings and the system dir? deleting retroarch.cfg file off PS3.

Nope its two shaders at once screwing up something..
Yup, can't have two shaders running: Scanlines and crt normalgamma. So I just use one: scanlines. Thats fine.
Man I can't wait for a more user friendly intuitive GUI for FBA RL.

Hiyas everyone! I been working with v1.01 of FB Alpha RL and I'm almost done with the tedious coding. I had to rewrite many things so I could handle data more easily. I personally like to keep the code clean and understandable.

Here is the current WIP (Work In Progress) for the next version (this list is not final, everything listed here has been already implemented, there are a few other things coming up before I release):

- Added quick list navigation by pressing L2 / R2.
- Added Analog Stick support to navigate lists.
- Added Main menu with various useful items.
- Added ZIP Info feature (press [ ] to view ZIP info).
- Updated FB Alpha (libretro) core.
- (FBA core) Fixed graphic problems in CPS-1 driver.
- (FBA core) Fixed Diagnostic Menu Lock-up in some games.

Btw, I will need some testers before I release, people with OFW 3.40, CFW 3.55 and maybe DEX.

I want to once and for all nail down the problem with the signing process, I will use SDK 3.40 from now on (was using SDK 4.00, but apparently it has cause problems)

Just let me know if you're available to test DEX / CEX / OFW 3.40 and I'll send you a beta build of v1.01 as soon as possible.

Awl, I hope you get lots of testers, I am looking forward to trying this out and giving you feedback on the GUI.. Hoping one day it could look like FBAX-XXX. And be a killer Capcom fighting game box.

I am currently trying to learn OpenGL ES, at this moment I could do a complete game using DirectX9 on Windows, but on PS3 I am still learning many things.

I love working with GUIs and believe me I am so frustrated that I cannot even code a module to decode a PNG and display it using OpenGL / PSGL on the PS3. When I am able understand just that, my creativity will do the rest, you see what I have done with just "text" xD lol.

Yup, nice text. Im old, my eyes are 20/40 and like bigger font sizes. Heheh, but thats ok, Thumbnails are good too and or background game wallpapers. I helped GogoAckman with his FBA-XXX Pro for Xbox1 back in the day.
