The Only Problem I Am Having Is With The Subs , who the hell subs these JRPG's ? Would it not be easier to put up a second sub for the proper Japanese translation ? , it's the same with Anime , There is actually a lot of people talking about the Anime version of this that is being worked on. Should be epic!

Easy get the PSN version no freezing. For all the guys who have the dublex version , here follows a converting tut Retail to PSN

1.Create folder NPUB30932 on hdd0/game/
2. All files from retail disk with are in BLES01555/PS3_GAME/ must be moved to NPUB30932
3. Install PKG link share-links.biz/_zyy88hm7l2ta
4. Use ReactPSN to activate

PS: If you get errors set you permissions via MM right ! Hint: File moving is on PC a lot easier

For converting saves from BLES01555 2 NPUB30932
1. Start the PSN game an create saves as many as you need
2. Move your old saves from dev_hdd0/home/00000001/savedata/BLUS30947_0000X to dev_hdd0/home/00000001/savedata/BLUS30947_0000X
3. Start PSN version load game and pls resave after loading

i try this way and loads fine. but i can't save "Language" and "Audio" setting (the first time the game run and asks us to choose subtitle language/audio)

it's not a big deal though
since the game is running fine, and save/load data fine too (i re-played from the beginning, so no savedata conversion here)

but combined with another reActPSN guide, the step i took was :
1. Create folder NPUB30932 on hdd0/game/
2. All files from retail disk with are in BLES01555/PS3_GAME/ must be moved to NPUB30932
3. Use ReactPSN to activate -> we need to activate the .rap first
4. Install PKG link share-links.biz/_zyy88hm7l2ta
5. Profit

and i can't fine the .rap files here, so i found it in another forum.
dunno if i can post the link or not

hope this helps anyone out there

There is a 4.xx pkg floating around now. No need for reactPSN or a .rap file. Works great on Rogero.

edit: I take no credit for this, just posting the link. No reactPSN needed. Just move files to hdd0/game/NPUB30932/ and install .pgk.

Code:

No (or very minimal) freezing, Wizards Companion opens fast, no lag after battles. Def the way to play it.

This is the easiest fix I've seen, I've been playing for 10 hours with no freezes and no lag.
Look on PS3iso.com in the "fixes" forum for this thread "" Ni No Kuni PSN version Fix repack (No need reActPSN) (Wizard's Companion Bug Fixed)"" then go to page 5 and read "Trainzell's" post about how to convert retail to PSN, there are no big PKG's to download only 2 small ones about 20mb each. You can also transfer your BLES saves to the PSN version as well, just read further and you will see how.

Seems that english version is having the same issue as the Japanese one. I had this annoying freezing issue too and I've tried a lot of so call no freeze fix to no avail. Was very frustrated until I thought of quitting the game.

After another few tries, I'm happy that I finally found a very simple way to fix the issue.

- Use a USB thumbdrive to play the game (no a portable HDD wont work, I've tried and it still freezes)

I tried 2 different external HDD, internal HDD and all failed. The game freezes randomly at around 1 or 2 hr playtime. Ever since I've changed to using USB thumb drive. 20hrs+ until now, not a single freeze. I've tested on 2 different thumbdrive, no freezes on both.

Obviously you going to need a pretty big drive (32GB) to fit the whole game in, and be sure to get one with decent read/write speed. I've tried one with a not-so-fast read speed USB thumbdrive and the loading time was horrible.

Hope this helps!

Okay, I know this is my first post, but I found something that worked for me. How many of you guys have your MulitMAN payload set to Hermes for PSX emulation? I did, and when I switched it back to standard the game played just fine. I agree with the atrocious loads times, but the game hasn't frozen on me since.

I'm on Rogero 4.31 (the latest version), with the latest MultiMAN. That's it.

I actually left 3.55 (OG 3.41 user) just for this game. On a CECH - 2001B with Rogero 3.31 now. No problems 36 hours in. Best HD generation RPG Period. Actually bought this game and strategy guide. I will be playing this game as long as I've been playing FF1 (since release).
Only problem is all pkg games no longer work. Anyone have a good direction to point me
