I use this one on my SGS, not rooted as I still need to have the guts to install a different Kernal on my phone

I just better not see yall outside my window. If i see anybody attempt to crack my setup they will notice i have some cracking to do myself.... your skulls.

wep/wpa/wpa2 all crackable depending on the u have or willing to spend.

wep takes about several minutes.
wpa/wpa2 is still the handshake and then dictonary based attack.
but now wps security is also easily breaked with backtrack, and a good nearby connection takes about 11 hours to be cracked.

donno why every router implements wps because the security is weaker then wpa/wpa2 because of the several digits pin :S

what im interested in is porting some how backtrack to ps3 and try to crack my AP with .. but im lost and dont know where to start :P anw will give it a shot tomorrow.

This is what I mean though, as everyone knows router keys are 8 characters, but not numbers alone generally. I'm specifically talking about WPA2 here though WPA has been *broken* as in it makes no difference what characters are used.

If it's using a dictionary attack then that's just brute forcing again and there's no chance an 8 character key could be broken in any reasonable amount of time as authentication takes many times longer than say for a compressed archive stored locally where millions of passwords can be tried a second.

you can break wpa2 using the wps flaw, much more easy to break something numeric..

Well where i live.. Most wireless routers has no WPS enabled i even didn't has the chance to try WPS flaw using reaver.
