im on rebug 4.30 running the SLUS version and all attempts to recreate your problem have failed for me, im now a 1hour into the game and no problems :-/ I can upload a video of me doing what your saying is causing it. Show ya that its not happening to me.

EDIT:

nvm you guys, I found the spot its hanging up on ya guys. I can enter all other menus in game without it freezing. I just tried the only menu I never use in a RPG game , the status option , and game locked up. I guess dont use the status menu option lol, otherwise game works fine.

The problem is that STATUS is the first menu option, which appears selected when you press triangle. I'm sure I'll accidentally push the X button and lose hours of gameplay...

I made a small update on the list. Gameshark V5 works perfectly as of 1.54

Xploder V4 may have more cheats but if you go to codetwink it's all GS codes...and yes codes on xploder and GS are different.

Well you can click STATUS, just dont click on a character to check there status ^_^

cause after you choose a character to check status of that person, is when it locks up.

Does someone know if Megaman Legends have any kind of Anti-Piracy protection? I've tried to re-rip the disc many times, but even so, this bug still haunts me!!

After I save Tron from the Dog, I have to talk with Roll, but when I do this, the game screws up the scenery, Megaman gets confused and I fall through the world, WTF!!!

I guess I'll have to play with the disc, this doesn't happen when I play with it.

EDIT: Nvm....downloaded a good rip from the internet and it worked...

With version 1.60 beta 2, Chrono Cross does not freeze when you go into the status screen, and Vigilante 8 has working music too(V8 requires .cue file)
