Edit: Confirming what @snkysnake02 already tested: Chrono Cross is working 100%, no more status screen freeze \o/

Yup CC is working 100% now, so is dbz legends ^_^ that was first test :-) so pumped to play dbz legends again now :-D

MM Legends 1 and 2 work 100% for me, there was a lil slowdown b4 this update...works flawless now

Again YAY!!!! DBZ LEGENDS no freeze anymore :-D sorry I'm geeked in nostalgia, it was first import game ever on modded psx for me :-)

i have to appologize about xenogears. seems i had a bad dump. i have tried a rom from net and this one works fine even with sound in fmvs. and it does not depend on iris update, as my dump also has no sound with latest irismanager release

and i have made another psx cheater image. this time only including xploder v4 and gameshark v5 which you can select from this multi gui. both work fine with it and you can save the different lists on internal memcard. tested with latest irismanager v1.60 beta2.

to select another one simply choose reset game and load from gui the other one

and about rebuilding these images, it is only a pain in the...so i have left the idea with vagrant story and only playing the us iso with cheats now.

You know what's good about being off psn? Reliving the classics, I know others may not agree with me but, the golden era of gaming started with the SNES and peaked with the PSX.

Sometimes Nostalgia can ruin it for you but...I still enjoy the hell out of these classics more than my time on PSN. I just started Breath of Fire 3, It's as good as I remembered it, back when games were all about story and gameplay.

I know I'm off-topic but something about playing bof3 and few classics reminded me online gaming wasn't the cream of the crop like new gen of gamers think it is.

I've never played on psn, but I understand what you mean. Retrogaming is a mix of nostalgia and taste for old-style challenges.

On the previous console generations, they had to invest more in the overall quality, since the resources were limited. Creativity had a greater importance, as the gameplay itself. And there are genres that almost disappeared (shmups, platform games, rail shooters)

Virtually all games nowadays rely more in patience than skill (keep playing until getting overpowered and kill the last boss with a single slap). The actual generation games seem to have no soul (there are a few exceptions)

I wouldnt say the golden age ended with PSX, I would say the love of game making and for the character development died, when the PS2 died. The PS2 focused on the all the right stuff as well. This is why I enjoy my jailbroken Ps3, If I think a game is not worth the 60$ I just grab it from the net, and if i was wrong I will buy it. Lets be truthful here though, how many ps3 games were worth buying? I can count on 1 ( maybe part of second hand) hand how many were to me.

MGS games for me are a must buy, hands down without question. I love when I get a console or hand held and I can mod it to play all the classics I was raised on. First thing I put on my PS3 when I modded it was the SNES, or NES. Forget which was first, I know hermes put the emulator out first, it was a real mess of code back then ^_^ but I suffered with it, just to play my child hood ^_^

Every where I went friends were like bring the ps3 so we can play nes, snes!!

LMAO funny when you think about it, 650$ machine, mostly playing nes, snes, gb, gbc, gba, sega, more then actual PS3 games

I know my roots, there firmly planted and all those will always be the first mods I place on any jail break system. ^_^

side note:

everything is good about being off PSN, I dont have to deal with whinny teens cause they loose to me. If I die, its cause I jumped to short, not high enough level, or my skills are just off that day

If I could choose what PSN access I was allowed I would only choose the store, only online gameing I ever did was doom 3 and borderlands 1 & 2, and only with friends on my list.

Jonah Lomu Rugby is working after the 1.60 Iris update, the sound is a little choppy but I think it is my copy of the game., cos Im sure it was like that on a PC emulator I used a couple years back. Hopefully someone can edit my initial report on the compatibility list.

@snkysnake02 @LoboGuara Thanks guys for the input! I have updated the list. PS1 nostalgia is simply awesome. So many great titles. I am not sure that we will have the same nostalgia for PS3 20 years later.

what am i doing wrong chrono cross just gives black screen do i have to remote the piracy protection? xenogears works fine for me...
