I for one am psyched for this as I recently read that IOS 6.x actually improves my old dated 3GS NO END and makes it usable for a good long while yet, which is great as I cant afford a new phone yet....

Summary:

Without a doubt, I recommend installing iOS 6 for the iPhone 3GS. The performance is better than it was in iOS 6 and the battery life, at least at the moment, remains the same. All I can say is this: If I didn’t buy the iPhone 5 and I had to hold out another year with iOS 6 on my iPhone 3GS, I would be more than comfortable. And I think many of you will feel the same way.

my wife hates android & loves ios .... cost me a fortune to keep up with the latest phones .... i couldnt give a f\/ck about what phone ive got as long as i can take & make a call!!!
