I am on 6.1 unteathered on my trusty 3GS

It took 10 mins to jailbreak

@naddel81 update itunes from another source, down load the ipsw from a repo on your PC, shift+click update on your itunes, and point it at your IPSW.

EDIT cydia is ****ed.

@DEFAULTDNB I need an unlock. is it already possible with redsnow on iOS6.x?

@ocam , I think you could preserve your baseband and then unlock the same way you already do.

I'm not 100% on this.

I did a phone a while back, I preserved the baseband/downgraded the baseband to a ultrasn0w unlockable one...

There might be a better way I dont know about yet though.
