you probably did short the 3,3V to ground, check all the Fxxxx parts if they are still ok.

no, on the mainboard , the fuses are marked as Fxxxx , i know for the SEM ps3 the fuse is F6002.

you don't have anything that can measure a fuse?

EDIT: ok, i make mistakes too.

EDIT2: guess i never make mistakes, it is F6300 for the JSD-001 board.

EDIT: @alexsius , if you have a JSD-001 board it is F6300, it is near the USB ports (other side of the board)

i took down the image, because i doubt now that i had the right fuse. EDIT: i have the right fuse but it's not your board, so no reason to post pic again.

dous your e3 flasher have a light that goes on when there's power from the mainboard?

when you turn your ps3 on, the 3,3V should come on for a short moment (2 sec.), if you see activity then the power should be ok and you have other problems....

i'm guessing you can hear the fan spin for a moment too.

a multimeter can be really cheap, i only payed 5 euro's for it.

I've found a tester i will check the fuse on the mb asap right now i've checked the fuse on the
power supply and it s ok.
And no power nor for a second... And my e3 flasher when ps3 worked made a light only when it was not well positioned...

i've checked a crappy picture from a JTP-001 board the fuse is the same (F6300) and at the same position.

I ve checked this fuse and all the otheres Fxxxx on the mb and they are all ok i've also noticed that current coming from the attachment that goes to the power supply gives current to every point of the mb.
Instead the power supply seems that has no current output. i think all the (i am not sure) "resistors" green with the number 915 on them, they are 6 or more and don't work...(i ll post a pic if a can get a decent one) But as i said I'm not sure they are resistors... Anyway the problem is the power supply. I have one working of a 60 gb FAT it can't be helpful right?
EDIT: here is a pic

how do you measure them? , meter set to 200ohm range and a reading of 0-1 ohm?

i've also noticed that current coming from the attachment that goes to the power supply gives current to every point of the mb.

i'm not completely following you....current? you probably mean voltage?
i'm also lost on the resistors you are talking about.
and no you cant use a psu from a 60GB ps3.

EDIT: ooh btw, can you get me a close up picture from the power/eject board connector, so i can see the traces? , also on the other side of the board.?

btw, you did not mess with your power/eject board or it's ribbon cable?
