Hello everyone. This is my first post on here, ever. I've been lurking ps3hax from the shadows for a while though. like 57413K, I too was

desperately looking for a way around the ban. After a whole week of endless searching, I gave up. I thought I would just wait until I had

extra money to buy a new Ps3 but then the third week came of no online, I couldn't take it anymore so I embarked on a new hopeless

journey to try to find some way to unban myself. I stumbled across some random thread that talked about how sony bans people's Mac

Address. Millions of ideas popped into my head. I searched how to change your mac address and well like a lot of times, one thread led to

another and as I was digging deeper and deeper, I eventually ended up on this thread. As I was reading through it before actually

attempting anything, I was slowly loosing hope as many of the posts were not helpful to the subject. But as I got to the 16th page, I saw

that 57413 wrote a little case study and how he unbanned himself. So I decided to follow in his footsteps with my own little tweaks since

my situation wasn't exactly the same as his. After countless hour, I managed to unban myself :D ! (Just a few minutes ago lol) Since a lot

of times I google the solutions to these kinds of things and end up reading useful posts but never give any feedback, I decided that this

was definitely worthy of some type of response and so, I just signed up to post exactly what I did to get unbanned. It pretty much

involves all the steps that 57413k posted but I'll post it anyway just incase someone else reads and even if no one reads it, I can vent

trough it. Okay so here's How I unbanned myself: For starters, I was on Rogero's 4.31 v2.03 CFW and the only reason I got banned was

because I played black ops 2 simple and plain. The first thing I did was downgrade to 3.55 Kmeaw. To do that, I followed the instructions

to downgrade to Rogero 3.7 (Bottom of the first post in Rogero's CFW post on Tortuga-cove(dot) com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=75&t=4035

If you plan on doing this, you should also follow the instructions or else you will brick your Ps3) Then, I installed Kmeaw 3.55 . After that, I

installed Chaos Air Bringer (MAC Changer) and PSIDPatch (ConsoleID Changer) and Rebug-Toolbox. Firstly I booted Rebug-Toolbox and

enabled Manager Access in lvl 1. Then I exited it and checked my system information and wrote down my Mac Address so I will always

have my original Ps3 Mac Address. Then I booted Chaos Air Bringer, my screen went black for about 10 seconds then it went back to the

XMB. I restarted my Ps3 and the Mac Address had changed to a random one. Then I proceeded to boot up PsID patch and followed the

on-screen instructions to randomize my ConsoleID and My PsID. I backed out, deleted all my users and made a new one. Before this, I

made a Brand New PSN on the psn wesbite and tried to log in with the new psn. Firstly when i tried to launch the psn icon, it said I

needed to update to latest version but I took care of that easily since I have SEN Enabler/Disabler. Once I tried to sign in with the new

account info, it read: You cannot Sign in using this account(Which means they still knew I was banned)... FUHHHH!!!!!! I was so

depressed lol. But I was like, " I did not come this far to read that bullsht. So I went back to PsID Patch and randomized the console ID a

few more times. Went back to try to sign in again and BAM! It went trough :'D! So yea this is my case study sorry if it sounds more like a

story then anything else, I just enjoy writing and venting sometimes. So if anyone ever reads this thread again looking for a way to get

unbanned, there is still hope ! But if you got banned for hacking/cheating, Go fk yourself -__- this will not work for you because you are

fake and gay. That is all.

Yes it really does work if you manage to generate a valid console ID! If you have an invalid ID you will recieve an error. If you have a banned ID well **** that sucks. So in short the chances of it working with a random ID is slim!

If you have a valid CSID and PSID do you still need to change your MAC ?
