I think we have a better chance at estwald releasing a ps2 and psp loader more then Ocxtor now. No offense to the man but, christ talk about a **** tease. Ive lost faith in the guy, and @BobbyBangin if he is against piracy and his twitter says he wont release the ps2 portion cause of it, then where does he stand on the PSP portion of it, cause if he releases that then his statment cannot be true.

I dont care how anti piracy anyone is, eventually we all succumb to pirating something, if you have downloaded a MP3 for free your a f*cking pirate. Im sure the man has hundreds of MB , if not Gigs of downloaded music. Its the same thing, your taking money out of the hands of the music industry. So anyones Im against piracy BS and will not release cause of that, can kiss my white ass and eat the suprise that comes out.

Im sick of the piracy being a excuse to all these "devs" , fu*king hypocrites one and all. Power hungry is all they are, they wanna feel supreme for a short while and hear the begs and pleas from the community to make themselves feel important, instead of giving back to the community and helping it grow to what it should be.

If I had the know how of how to do this, the moment I cracked it I would release it. Anyone in the right mind would.

I would say "Eureka" if someone design a simple .pkg file to DISABLE/BYPASS the Disc Authentication Protocol similar to how Cinavia Protection is defeated on most CFWs now.

Also @oct0xor should go ahead and release the PS2 payload so that Estwald, Deank, and others can analyze it. Everyone else being "Open Source" about things...

I agree. It's become a disappointment. I'm pretty sure there's more to it than him 'being against piracy'. PS2 games are cheap and people have tons of them. I have a whole cabinet full. For that matter, I know there would be lots of people who would like to try to rip them off with their PS3's to preserve them. Plus it's convenient. Sure there will be piracy but who really gives a crap if somebody pirates a PS2 game. Until he releases it I'm going to assume he sold out for one reason or another. For some reason he can't release the Cobra payload but it's okay to release the cheat dongles? I don't get it. Not to mention he already said he'd release it when the time was right, now he's saying he's not going to at all because he's suddenly an anti-pirating champion.

the man/kid clearly has lost site of his goal with the cracking of this dongle, I wouldnt be suprised if cobra contacted him and paid him off. They did with deank, Im sure if the love for Oxctor turns into hate, evenetually he will get sick of the hate and remember why he started. Just like deank is doing now, someone really got under his skin and now he is making MM open source again.

I was called rude and an ass from some forums members for how I worded it. But looking back on this long wait, And now this PS2 payload hold out. I guess I was right along.

Ah, you know how the scene likes to revere dev's in God-like status one minute and then turn on them the next. I think you were justified in your questioning. I'm pretty sure your question is the one I was referring to when he replied he would release it when the time was right. I think @GregoryRasputin was justified in his questioning as well. The PS2 payload and an N64 emulator are really the only things I'd like to see anymore.

You know im doubting he even cracked it, sure he may have found the code or whatever that script is on his page. What proof does this man have that it works without a dongle, all I seen in the video was him putting the dongle in and loading cobras psp launcher in the XMB. Isnt that how the cobra dongle works? or am I wrong O.o

coulda just been a clever hoax on his part to make us all think that he cracked it cause he missed the fame from when he cracked that codeunique dongle.

Until I see SOLID proof that he has done it, I dont believe anymore. By solid I mean, release of either the PS2 or PSP emu working without the dongle. If he only releases the PSP one, i will be happy. Ps2 would be great, but I have tons of PSP games just sitting around doing nothing cause my PSP broke and I dont wanna buy another or a VITA.

This has become a lost cause without evidence beyond a reasonable doubt. Its been what, month - 2 months and nothing from the guy anymore. Not even a freaking peep to keep us in the loop, except snobby comments from his followers on twitter when members from here ask for a progress update. Is it to hard to keep the community informed instead of going off grid for a lightyear.

Lots of good points. He doesn't owe us anything I guess so it is what it is. I could be wrong. I just want the potential of this thing realized. Like with the Wii. I went through a big workaround to get DVD playback for it although I've never really used it. If it's capable I want it to do it and I at least always have it as a backup. But these here are features I would actually use. I guess that's why we're being charged for them.
