I was talking about electricity.

I used an "option" on an old tester that is 2000k i don't know what it does but values go from 0 to 2000 and it s 1 when there is no connection and 0 when there is "perfect" connection without any resistance. On the manual it s said that it s used for check resistors... But i m a total noob...

Do you need a photo of the connectors of the power/eject board on the mb or a photo of the ribbon cable of the power/eject board? And no problem for the other side of the board i ll post it asap

yes please, also from the other side of the board. (under that connector).

EDIT: if it did read 0 with your meter then i guess the fuses are fine, too bad you don't have meter that reads voltage, it would make life easier.

@alexsius , maybe you should solder tristate to ground, to see if the console still shut down.
we are now foccusing on hardware issues, but we did not rule out flash related issues.

I ll post also the other pics but the power/eject board is perfect... As said the weird thing is with the power supply that seeems to have no output with my tester... I will lokk for a function that checks the voltage...

but yes a multimeter that can read resistance and voltage is a must.

I ll post the pics you want anyway now i ve fibd this function for voltage and it seems that everything work but my ps3 makes no light even if the power/eject button is perfect... Fir the voltage i can assure there is the valus change an are very low at 200 m tge max is 02.0...

no sense at all, i just found out that i did misread your first post.
i thought the ps3 shut down when you start it, but you have no light at all.

your meter is good enough, if you set the range to 20V (it's somewhere left on the meter) you are good to go.

measure if you read 5V on the 4 wire psu cable.

pin1(red probe) to pin2 (black probe) =5V
pin3(black probe) to pin4 (red probe) =5V

i would be surprised if the psu would fail, because fuses on the mainboard would blow first.
